Death Note is a very popular anime and manga. The story surrounds itself around a teenage genius, Light, who inadvertently finds a Death Notebook. Writing the name of a person, along with some optional criteria, results in the death of that particular person.
Light, after realizing the power within this book decides to use to to ail the world from it's criminals. However, not everybody sees this as justice. Including, the chief of police who happens to be Light's father and a fellow teenage genius, known only as L, who is hired by his father to hunt down the vigilante.
